The National Museum of Australia 2030 Masterplan
GPS were engaged by the National Museum of Australia to work with their Council, Director and Senior Management team to establish a Master Plan for the Museum to 2030.
The development of the Master Plan included undertaking a series of stakeholder workshops which addressed the future vision for the Museum, including redevelopment and expansion of the gallery space, integration of new technologies and the expansion of the visitor experience for all ages throughout the site.
The role encompassed not only stakeholder engagement, but project management of consultants including architects, cost planners, editors and publishers to establish a Master Plan with clearly identified projects and schedule which achieved the endorsement of the Museum Council.
