Global Project Solutions (GPS) is a multi-award winning, boutique program and project management consultancy that has a long established experience of providing specialised Client Side program and Project Management services to the Australian Government, Cultural Institutions and Private Enterprise.

Having delivered multiple critical, high value, overseas projects for GPS fully understands the complexities and risks of such projects and has the experience to work through them, mitigate them and deliver outcomes of the highest quality.

 

GPS has the proven track record in taking projects from concept through design, development and delivery, and into the operational and maintenance cycles, taking primary responsibility for everything from initial business case authoring to handover, project closure and benefits analysis.

The list of projects below represents some of our more recent works from a  portfolio covering, building, construction, ICT systems / infrastructure and software development projects in more than 20 countries.

The Sir John Monash Centre

The Sir John Monash Centre (SJMC) is a lasting legacy  that ensures that the service and sacrifice of Australians on the Western Front during WW1 will not be forgotten.

Global Project Solutions managed every aspect of the project on behalf of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs from business case through design and delivery. The Centre was officially opened by the Prime Minister in April 2018 to coincide with the Anzac Centenary.

The Australian Passport Office, Adelaide

Global Projects Solutions was engaged by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to act as Project Manager / Contracts Administrator for this project from business case through to delivery.

The Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre

The Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre in Thailand commemorates and recounts the stories of the WW2 Prisoners of War who were forced to labour on the Thai- Burma Railway.

Global Project Solutions were engaged by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs to project manage the refurbishment of the Centre and to refresh of all of its content.

The Australian Embassy to Mongolia

Global Project Solutions was engaged by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to act as Project Manager for the scoping, design, development and delivery of the Australian Embassy  to Mongolia in the Capital of Ulaanbaatar.

GPS provided end to end project manager services including site assessment, scope and budget development, procurement, contract management, design and construction.

The Australian Passport Office, Sydney

Global Projects Solutions was engaged by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to deliver a brand new 1305 sqm passport office in the heart of Sydney.

The Australian Embassy to Morocco

Global Project Solutions was engaged by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to act as Project Manager for the design, development and delivery of this innovative project.

The first Australian Embassy to utilise modular construction techniques, the project required a high degree of research and development.

Constructed to meet both Qatari and Australian codes and to comply with the very specific security requirements of Australian diplomatic missions

The National Museum of Australia 2030 Masterplan

GPS were engaged by the National Museum of Australia to work with their council, director and senior management team to establish a Master Plan for the Museum to 2030.

For these strategic business planning project GPS acted as both lead facilitator for senior stakeholder workshops and project manager for a broad range of consultants including architects, cost planners, editors and publishers to deliver a strategic vision for one of the nations premiere cultural institutions.
